  • Visualization Engineer (CS9401)

    At Technology Holding LLC, we are on the lookout for an innovative Visualization Engineer to join our ambitious HoodLab project. This project is centered around creating a dynamic data exploration and visualization tool aimed at providing actionable insights into spatiotemporal air quality and heat levels. The role demands a blend of creative visualization skills and technical expertise to develop an intuitive and interactive interface that simplifies complex environmental data for users. The Visualization Engineer will be crucial in utilizing open-source data and libraries to craft visual representations that make fine-scale environmental data comprehensible and engaging for a broad audience.
    Position: 6-month contract eligible for extension.

    Role and Responsibilites:
    • Design and implement interactive visualization features that enable users to conduct exploratory analyses on various spatiotemporal data layers, from socioeconomic to environmental factors, with a granularity that reaches individual buildings.
    • Utilize OpenStreetMap data and the H3 Hexagonal Hierarchical Spatial Index for creating accurate and detailed geographical visualizations.
    • Integrate the Kepler.gl library, along with other AI/ML libraries like PyTorch, to enhance the platform's analytical capabilities and visualization power.
